Past

Hochmuth Bootsbau AG was established in 1960 by Hermann Hochmuth. As the wooden boat era came to an end and the import of high end GFK motor boats and yachts from Scandinavia began, the company laid the foundation for the philosophy of today's dock yards in the 70's. Today it is a modern service operation. At the end of 1998, the Hochmuth family let go of the dock yards due to the founder's passing.

Present

Since then the history of Hochmuth Bootsbau AG has been in the hands of a well-oiled three member trio consisting of Hugo Scherer, Othmar Zingg and Hans-Ueli Keller. Thanks to ongoing optimizations in the structural areas and in the company's infrastructure, Hochmuth Bootsbau AG evolved into what it is today - one of the country's most state-of-the-art dock yard facilities. A broad and comprehensive portfolio of boats, which positions itself in all segments of modern water sports, and a carefully selected dealer network are the warrantors of nationwide coverage and fulfill all nautical needs.

Future

The goals of Hochmuth Bootsbau AG are driven by visions and the hard work that goes into turning them into reality. At the heart of all of these activities and motivated action is the customer. Future boat owners, as well as seasoned yacht owners make up the client roster.

Expanded services that are always on par with modern aspects, increased customer intimacy and a commitment to performance and product transparency will sustainably dominate the development of Hochmuth Bootsbau AG for many years to come.
